Wipe Tears Africa (WTA) is committed to restoring hope and improving the quality of life of vulnerable children, families, and communities in Uganda.

Promote Equal Opportunity and Well-being

Foster equal opportunities and holistic well-being for all children through initiatives that support political awareness, economic empowerment, health, culture, and education.

Support Vulnerable and Displaced Populations

Design, implement, and manage programs that assist displaced persons, homeless children, the sick, persons with disabilities, and orphans.

Advance Inclusive Development

Establish projects that enhance cultural, educational, and economic development for all children, without discrimination based on religion, tribe, gender, sex, or region.

Promote Health, Nutrition, and Awareness

Promote and support health programs, proper nutrition, HIV/AIDS awareness, and access to basic health facilities for the well-being of all children.

Enhance Household Food Security

Improve household food security and the nutritional status of children in both rural and urban communities.

Empower Women Socially and Economically

Empower vulnerable women through social and economic initiatives, including income-generating activities to support self-reliance and child welfare.

Support Community Credit & Livelihood Programs

Initiate community-based credit schemes providing small loans or seed capital for sustainable income-generating projects.

Advocate for Children’s Rights

Conduct advocacy campaigns to promote and protect the rights, dignity, and equal opportunities of all children.

Combat Harmful and Oppressive Practices

Actively campaign against cultural and social practices that undermine the health, development, and dignity of children and youth.

Promote Public Health Education

Conduct education campaigns on malaria prevention, reproductive health, family life education, child labor prevention, and HIV/AIDS in partnership with government authorities.

Promote Moral Values & Child Protection

Prevent sexually transmitted diseases, early pregnancies, sexual abuse, and related challenges among children and youth.

Rehabilitate & Support Disadvantaged Children

Support abused and disadvantaged children through rehabilitation, counseling, and socio-economic reintegration.

Develop Child-Centered Infrastructure

Establish and operate orphanage centers, vocational training schools, and health facilities.

Provide Psychosocial Support

Offer psychosocial care to children affected by HIV/AIDS, conflict, and other traumatic circumstances.

Build Strategic Partnerships

Collaborate with organizations and institutions that share our objectives.

Mobilize Resources for Sustainability

Mobilize and solicit funds and resources to sustain the organization’s programs and long-term impact.
