I am married to Judith and a father of six biological children. I was born into a poor and drunkard family, where education was not considered important. Though both my parents tried to send me to school, poverty and hunger were so extreme that even one meal a day was uncertain. After their separation, life grew even harder.
I was lost and hopeless—until 1990, when Jesus found me and changed my life. I left home, joined a church, and was taken in by believers who raised me in God’s love. In 2010, remembering my childhood struggles, I founded Wipe Tears Africa to support vulnerable children. I began by sponsoring a few children myself, but soon realized the needs were far beyond what I could manage alone.
My passion is to give hope and a future—through education and holistic support—to Africa’s unprivileged, poor, and needy children.
